What's not to like about light sabers, really cool handguns and space battles?!
And, you get to see and walk around the inside of your own starship! Eventually even personalize for those romantic NPC or other player rendevous lol (not kidding).

I signed up for the weekend-beta-thingy they are running next weekend. If I get in, and the game runs decently on my PC, I'm probably going to play it. Been watching the movies again the past week, and the star wars stuff is getting back to me

I just tried the Star Trek thing since I got a free trial, and OI! I was ready to puke after an hour. Star Wars is going to KILL that game. What I've seen/played on Star Wars wins over every other MMO that gives you a body; I know the space combat won't be EVE, but it will be a sweet bonus to a great sci fi running game
