  • Took the Plunge

As some of you know, I was discussing a new computer last night. Well, I took the plunge and bought one.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (2.4GHz,1066FSB) with 4MB cache
    2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
    NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE
250GB SATA II Hard Drive (7200RPM)
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (with windows Vista Upgrade when available)
    16X DVD+R/RW CD-RW Combination Drive

Someday, I would maybe like to upgrade video card, but hope that will tide me over for a while.

Personally I would have bought a cheaper CPU and spent more on the video card, but I'm just Jealous.
        A64 3500+ + a 7600GT here.

The new video card will come soon enough. Then I will throw that one in my current desktop.

Well, after much deliberation, I decided to cancel my computer order. I figure my kids need things more than i need a new computer. Maybe someday though.
