Right not that anyone would possibly be able to tell by my spelling/grammer but I enjoy a good read. So if anyone has some good reading material they would like to post I will start the ball rolling.

Personally I am a big cyberpunk and horror fan so here goes:

Necrocope Series of books by Brian Lumley. I read this series all back to back and they stack almost as tall as me. If you like vampires they rock.

Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. Imagine a very dark james bond with clone tech, clone jumping, custom synthetic combat clones and you get the idea.

Hidden Empire by Kevin J anderson. Space Opera nuff said.

    Your Turn.

Neuromancer by William Gibson. The best Sci-Fi of them all.
The Cambridge History of China-it's 13 volumes and I just started the first one so ask me in five years where I am.
Currahee by Donald Burgett. I just finished reading this. IMHO, one of the best first person accounts written by one of the Band of Brothers of WWII airborne fame. More here at this link: http://www.band-of-brothers.nl/artik...tt.asp?lan=ned
Another good read is "Soul of Battle:From Ancient Times to the Present Day, How Three Great Liberators Vanquished Tyranny" by Victor David Hanson. Outstanding and relevant in today's world.

Check out any of W.E.B. Grffin's books if you are into Band of Brothers series. I recommend starting with his "Brotherhood of War" and "The Corps" series. I bet you'll throughly enjoy his style as well as the stories.

If youre into the Roman empire, it's become a fascination of mine, then check out Conn Iggulden and Simon Scarrow. Both have good "fictional" based upon reality series.

            Conn - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...587274-5154558

            Simon - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...o.x=11&Go.y=17

Richard Marchinko is a decent author if you're into US Navy Special Warfare. He is a SEAL and the man who created SEAL Team Six, the anti-terror SEAL team. His books are actually a bit funny to read. He's quite vulgar but in a humorous way, plus he always wins so they are predictable, but not bad to read if you're bored.

Clive Custler also has many good books all revolving around his same characters. Each book is a new adventure with new problems to solve and women to bed.

And ofc Tom Clancy is ALWAYS a good read. Start with "Hunt for Red October" if you havent seen the movie and work your way up. Read the books in order so you don't get lost.

            Clancy - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...eywords=clancy

If you're into Biographies I highly reccommend Colin Powell, Chuck Yeagar, and Lee Iaccoca. "First Seal" by Roy Boehm is an excellent story of the birth of the US Navy Seals.

"Underboss" by Sammy "The Bull" Gravano is a hell of a mafia story. He was the underboss to the Gambino crime family in New York City. It really gives you a very detailed view into the US mafia. Gravano was turned by the FBI and put away John Gotti and many others. It is really a good book by a serious shithead with 17 kills to him name. Plus it's ALL 100% true, according to Gravano
