  • What's your weirdest possession?

Dam I've heard about some pretty weird stuff you guys own! For instance I hear Adriko owns a pickled octopus that's kept in a glass diplay jar.... (dont ask me :? )

Personally - quite a few years ago I was asked to do an illustration commission for a gay couple. They handed over some of their favourite porn mags (not hard core) and said "make it twisted as"..

What turned out was one of the most mind fucking pieces I ever did and was glad for the opportunity. I'll try and get a scan to post asap for this thread.

What other wierd crap do you guys have squirriled away ?

      hm....

I got a coconut that has been sculpted and painted into the face of a pirate.

My grandfather made a model motorcycle out of garbage, nuts and bolts. Its pretty cool. Gave it to me.

      thats about it.

My girlfriend has an old cast iron carousel horse out in the garage that she got from her grandparents when they moved into their retirement community. I would say that is our oddest possession. I'll bet not many people can say they have one.

well, for one thing my pet skull, the one featured in my avatar (his name is heribert btw).

other than that I own the tooth of an Iguanodon (a Dinosaur).

              I think thats about it.

I recently discovered on one of visits to my parents house that my mom had saved and stored a ton of old 7th and 8th grade girlfriend notes and letters. OMG I never laughed so hard after I read a few.

"I like you. Do you like me? I will go with you if you want to go with me."

I literally have about 200-300 old letters in a box. LOL, too funny!

                  not

i try and go to a game park every year. Its the highlight of the year because its so relaxing and makes you think again about the meaning of life etc etc. I was thinking of bringing something really natural back to remind me of it when I'm in the city again. The most obvious thing appeared to be elephant shit. But alas I didn't bring it back.. mostly for fear of catching some disease from it. Maybe next year I can post here that I have some.

I think my lack of strange possessions is an oddity in itself... anything - as long as it's not useful (i.e. cd collection, computer etc.) - is a target when I decide to tidy up. No matter how many years I've had it, no matter who gave it to me and under what circumstances, I'll chuck it.

                        Maybe I'm anti-materialistic.

Or maybe I'm just an arsehole who doesn't care.

Im' with ionfish, although I'd prolly still have my beloved transformers collection if it werent for my evil, cleaning-out-part-of-my-childhood mother(although she did donate those to charity). :|

ps-Actually, her giving out my prized toys when I still liked them was probably what makes me anti-materialistic like teh fishy.

lol that reminds me I still have an autograph picture of Darth Vader! the actual actor (forget his name) came to our mall all dressed up in his costume. I was around 7-8 years old and I think I wet myself when he shook my hand rather hard.
